Getting there. The number 457 city bus departs every 20 minutes to central Catania and stops at Piazza Stesicoro. Tickets are available from a booth in front of the terminal building, and must be validated when boarding. Taxis cost approximately 25 EUR from the airport to the hotel. Price is subject to change.

Getting around. An inexpensive rail network links Sicily's larger towns, including Palermo, Messina, Taormina, and Syracuse. Buses run throughout the towns and many of the smaller villages. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy areas.
