Location. Cliffeside Hotel is set on Bournemouth's prestigious East Cliff, above miles of golden beaches with superb views over the Channel. It is a classic English resort hotel, 500 metres from the sea and one mile from the town centre. Bournemouth Airport (BOH) is six miles away, an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.

Expert Tip. Brownsea Island, seven miles from the hotel, boasts splendid beaches on its south shore, as well as two nature reserves inland. The north of the island is a sanctuary for waterfowl, while the south reserve plays host to magnificent peacocks.

Driving Directions:
Getting there. Yellow buses connect Bournemouth Airport with Bournemouth Travel Interchange (rail, bus and coach station). Single fare is 4 GBP. Airport- approved taxis meet all arriving flights and typically cost 15 GBP to the hotel. All prices subject to change. Yellow buses are a good way of getting around Bournemouth, and in summer there are many open-top buses. Land trains run along the seafront and cliff lifts (short funicular railways) run down to the beach.
