Driving Directions: From Lisbon (Portela) International Airport (LIS): Distance to the VIP Grand Lisboa Hotel and Spa is 5 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Aerobus shuttle, number 91, runs between the airport, the city centre and the Cais do Sodre railway station every 20 minutes. Tickets cost 2 EUR for a single and 3.10 EUR for all day travel, and can be purchased on board. Public buses depart regularly for a variety of destinations in the city. Taxis cost 10 EUR to Lisbon city centre. There are extra fees for luggage and a 20 percent surcharge for night services. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. An integrated tram, bus and metro system operates in Lisbon. Daily passes can be purchased for travel on public transport. Street elevators and funicular railways transport passengers to Lisbon's Barrio Alto. Ferries run between Lisbon and Cacilhas. Taxis are fairly inexpensive.

Driving directions. From the airport, follow Praça do Aeroporto. Turn onto Avenida Almirante Gago Coutinho. Turn right onto Avenida Estados Unidos da America in the direction of Entrecampos/Sete Rios. After the tunnel, take the 2nd exit on the roundabout in the direction of Sete Rios.
