Open March 2006, the Yasmin Hotel is an ultramodern, seven-floor design hotel located in the heart of Prague, 50 metres from Wenceslas Square. The 198 air-conditioned guestrooms feature simple design in light green, neutral and white colours with minimalist design furniture and light fittings. All include flat-screen televisions with satellite channels and pay movies, high-speed Internet access, minibars, safes and bathrooms with hairdryers. Most rooms face the quiet inner courtyard. A buffet breakfast is served each morning and Noodles restaurant specialises in varieties of pasta and noodles from Italian to Thai as well as light salads and Czech and international dishes. The main train station and the underground stations "Museum" and "Mustek" are less than 300 metres from the hotel, while the Old Town square is 400 metres away. Driving Directions: Registered taxis and minibus stands are available in front of the Arrivals hall. Bus service 119 runs from the airport to Dejvická, the nearest metro station to the airport and located at the end of line A; journey time is about 20-30 minutes. From there, take Metro line A to Muzeum or Mustek (4 stops).Prague's compact historic centre is best explored on foot. Cheap public transportation is available in the shape of metro, bus, tram or the funicular railway. You can get tickets, directions, schedules and multilingual public transport system maps at information offices located in five major metro stations. Tickets can be used interchangeably on all forms of transport. Driving from the airport: Head for Route 6, which goes directly into Prague.
