Watch the yellows and oranges molt into reds and purples, until finally all color drains into the horizon, and the multi-colored lights of North Truro and Provincetown emerge in a long twinkling line, while the lights of a few straggling boats float across the darkening plane of the water. In a while, more distant lights appear -- the tiny arch of yellow lights that outline the Sagamore Bridge many miles away, and the dim glow of coastal towns (Plymouth, Hyannis, and Orleans) that ring the Cape.
