The Plantation Bungalow is located in Pepe'ekeo on the Hamakua Coast, at the head of the uniquely beautiful 4 mile Scenic Drive, which skirts Hilo Bay, just north of Historic Hilo Town. The neighbors, mostly retired from the plantation are jewels and represent a wonderful and rare aspect of Hawaiian Heritage and the manicured landscaping in this area is meticulously cared for.
The Hamakua Coast offers unparalleled outdoor activities on the east side including nearby Akaka Falls, the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens, and beautiful hiking trails. We are located a short drive from Honoli'i Beach, a great local surfing spot. This part of the coast is laced with streams, waterfalls and swimming spots, all against a backdrop of lush tropical vegetation. Volcanoes National Park is a short drive, minutes south, as is Waipio Valley & Waimea to the north, Kailua-Kona, is a short scenic drive west.
Hilo Town offers a unique blend of Old-Hawaii Plantation Style Charm and modern conveniences, abundant shopping and really great restaurants. The Farmers Market should be a must see place on your list. You will find a wonderful variety of handicrafts, abundant produce typical of the Big Island. The Lyman and Tsunami Museums in down town Hilo are very interesting and well worth the visit. Plan to step back in time and relax as you enjoy Old Hawaii at its Best.

$300.00 deposit to reach us within 10 days to hold your reservation, and serve as a security deposit..
Balance in full 90 days prior to arrival between ( October 1- March 31 )
Balance in full 60 days prior to arrival between (April 1 September 31 )
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation may be made by either party 90 days prior to arrival for reservations between ( October 1- March 31 ) or 60 days prior to arrival for reservations between (April 1 – September 31 ) for a full refund.
After 90 or 60 days, as mentioned above, unless the space is resold, all payments are forfeited by the renter. If some or all the space is resold the renter will receive a full refund for the period resold.
We also reserve the right to cancel without prior notice any reservation and return the payment in full in case of an emergency, which makes the rental un-inhabitable. In such case we will do our best to place a canceled reservation with another rental property of comprable value or provide the full refund,which ever is desired by the renter. However do not assume any further liability in this situation.
