Our condo has officially become a SKI/IN SKI/OUT unit!There has been a new ski trail placed just at the foot of our condo stairs which leads to a brand new gondola on Home Run. That lift will take you to mid mountain. From there you may access the mountain runs and the other ski lifts. Our North Lake Tahoe vacation condo is a short walk across the private parking area to the ski trail (350 feet to trail). In the morning you can ski down to the Village to catch the lifts (5 minutes door to lift); ski back to the North Lake Tahoe Condo area in the afternoon. This year there is a new trail that allows ski back to the front door! At night you can walk along the groomed ski run or the new walking trail to the restaurants, shops, and ice rink.

Our North Lake Tahoe vacation condo is loaded with amenities!!. The living room/dining area is equipped with a wood burning fireplace and a color TV with a VCR. It is comfortably decorated.
The master bedroom has a KING size bed, and is on the main level. A brand new QUEEN and TWO new TWIN BEDS are in the loft. There is a stairway up to the converted loft. All bed linens are provided as well as bath towels/hand towels/wash cloths (for 6 guests) in the bathroom (1 Bath).
Our kitchen is fully equipped including a new, self-cleaning gas range, all dishes, silverware, glassware and pots and pans for most types of cooking. There is an electric coffee maker, and there are also additional items like paper towels, napkins, coffee filters, and dish soap for both the sink and dishwasher.
There is a new gas grill on the deck.

WINTER:Winter activities at Northstar include the new Lookout Mountain offering acres of new terrain for skiers and snowboarders including a Terrain Park and Super pipe. There is a cross-country center, snow tubing park, restaurants, bars, retail shops, equipment rental shops and licensed day care. In the winter the recreation center offers the spa, Jacuzzi, game room, gym, lap pool and library.
Trails and Slopes-Longest run is 1.3 miles (2.09 kilometers) -- Logger's Loop -Seven advanced runs on the backside of Mt. Pluto with several over 1 mile-long (1.6km). -Lookout Mountain - 200 acres (81 hectares) of advanced terrain; opened Jan of 01 -240 acres of backcountry terrain (Saw tooth Ride) open for experts when conditions permit
Terrain Park ExpansionsAt Northstar-at-Tahoe, the family that jibs together stays together, which is why Northstar created its new family terrain park on The Straights. This playground of non-intimidating features is a great introduction to freestyle terrain that the whole family can enjoy. From rails and fun boxes located mere inches from the snow to gentle rolling jumps that allow riders to get the feeling of air for the first time, this park allows children and parents to test gravity at their own pace. The run will be designated as a slow skiing and riding zone to keep the area fun and safe. Home to world class mountain bike trails. There is a bike rental shop in the Village that can provide you with all of the equipment to ride the back roads, and lifts are available to take you to the top of the mountain.
The horseback riding stables provide horses for hourly rides or organized group rides on miles of trails.
Northstar has an excellent, 18 hole championship golf course available right in the complex. There are brochures available in the Pro Shop that describe the course and how to play it information, as well as a schedule of green fees etc.
For you tennis players, there are 12 beautiful tennis courts to take on that favorite partner.

$500 security deposit, which is completely refundable after inspection.
Reservations may be canceled with notification at least 21 days prior to intended arrival. (Holidays 8 weeks prior). We will refund only if we can re-book after these dates (we often have a wait list during high season). There is a $50 administration fee.

Great condo. Right next to the ski slope and walking distance from the North Star Village. Well furnished and equipped. Very cozy. Owners are highly accomodating and pleasure to deal with. Will definitely consider renting it again.

Cozy condo, great location - close to ski trails, yet at dead-end street away from people for some privacy and quiet, great for kids. Not only great for skiing, but in summer - walk to pools, hot tub, play area, tennis, hiking, mountain biking, restaurants, upscale and mountain shops, or shuttle to golf.. !!! Would rent any season again.

A gem of a condo. Upscale, nice personal touches, well appointed. Great location, close to ski trails - ski in and ski out, walk to resort center, pool, hot tub, gym, restaurant. Ideal with kids - leave them on their own, safe, with free shuttle bus. Well worth it, summer - winter, any season.
