Located on the sandy beach on Mutiny Bay, Whidbey Island, with its own offshore moorage, this million dollar home is in the tiny town of Freeland and ten minutes from the artist village of Langley with its many restaurants and antique shops. Whidbey Island itself is a destination vacation area in the Pacific Northwest, renowned for its natural beauty.
This brand-new, Non-Smoking, nature-inspired, architect-designed home has four bedrooms and three baths, including a tub for two in the master suite. It includes a king bed in the master suite, two queen beds in separate bedrooms, and four twins (two sets of bunkbeds), perfect for a family. It comfortably sleeps ten people. The open, gourmet, view kitchen opens onto the deck which steps out to the beach. There is an additional deck off the upstairs master suite and an elegant private courtyard with landscaped gardens off the sweeping entryway. This warm and welcoming home-away-from-home is beautifully furnished with antiques and original art throughout. An impressive, hand-built, stone fireplace anchors the great room and breath-taking views abound in every room.
Mutiny Bay Beach House is graced by nature with Great Blue Heron, Bald Eagles, Otters, and even occasionally Orcas whales, and, of course, sweeping views of Mutiny Bay and the Olympic Mountains beyond. You will find excellent crabbing, clam digging, and fishing directly from the beach in front of the house. Situated on the most beautiful beach on Whidbey Island - you will fall in love with this lovely home and find yourself wanting to return year after year.
This home is not only beautiful, but it sits on a beautiful sandy beach with magnificent views of the Olympic Mountains, activities on Puget Sound, and beautiful sunsets. Our children loved playing on the beach and my husband and I enjoyed relaxing on the patio. I highly recommend you try it out!! You won't regret it!!

We have had the opportunity to spend many days here and love it. It is perfect for our large family. There is something for everyone. We always come home with buckets of sea shells that my wife and daughters turn into amazing creations. The bigger boys and I fish and hang out. Our little boys spend all day in the beautiful sand. This is truly one of our favorite places.

The beach is one of the nicest, funnest beaches in the Northwest. The views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains are outstanding. When it came to tie the knot and the arduous task of picking that special place became realty, we were searching for answers. After carefully researching hundreds of possible locations for our wedding, Elisabeth and I found this beautiful beach house with breathtaking views of the the Puget sound and the Olympic mountains. After just one weekend exploring Whidbey Island and the sandy beaches just outside the door, we knew there was no other place in the world we would rather be on our special day. Many thanks to Pauline and Herb for making our dream come true. Not only did they help locate local resources for the wedding, they also provided virtually everything you will need for a truly gorgeous wedding setting.

I loved the boating, fishing and kayaking, I had a great round of golf at Useless Bay Golf Club. Then back to the house to sleep soundly in a very comfortable bed !

No schedules, no appointments, no ringing phones or meetings. The toughest decision you'll have to make is whether to read John Grisham or James Patterson. The solitude and serenity of Mutiny Bay, coupled with such wonderful accommodations and a lovely setting will have you wishing you were staying for two weeks instead of just one. An awesome place to relax and play.

The Mutiny Bay Beach House is a treasure! Pauline and Herb are a fabulous couple with an amazing esthetic. Their home is spacious, well appointed, and beautifully landscaped. The view and beach are among the very best on Whidbey Island. I would highly recommend the Beach house for a romantic weekend, or a family vacation as well as corporate retreats and weddings.

Thank you so much for introducing us to your lovely beach house. The facilities are superb but casual, and the view of the Olympics from your deck is breathtaking. One of my favorite moments from a very special night last August was a late-night walk to the pier from your home. When I turned around, the entire crescent of the bay was illuminated by a string of tiny twinkling lights presided over by a full moon. I took my shoes off and walked back along the beach in the edge of the water, marveling that such places still exist in our day and age.
