Located on the beautiful Rockport Harbor, the Community House is one of the few original homes in this idyllic and picturesque New England community, situated just S-E of Camden and N of Rockland, on the Atlantic Ocean, Mid Coast Maine, east of Coastal Route 1. The architecture is typical colonial New England style, with white clapboards and black shutters. The house is a Rockport vacation rental property with apartments available the whole year around.The large main house has 2 separate apartments that can be rented also as a whole,each 2-3 bedrooms, sleeping 2-4-6 people.The Barn has a 22x22 Loft-Studio with balcony on the upper floor, overlooking the garden and the Rockport Harbor. The whole house is completely renovated, featuring original pine floors, white berber carpets, recessed halogen lighting and track lights. There are all sizes beds thoughout the house, the Studio is better suited for 2 or 3, w 2 double beds and a twin bed, a day sofa, a bathroom with a modern shower, a full modern kitchenette with 4 burner cooktop, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, pots and pans, lobster pot, blender. The furnishings are designer, both down or polyester comforters available, the furniture is french-country style.All living areas have the wonderful view,direct access to the water[dock is negociable], picnic table, outdoor sitting. No extra visitors encouraged, no parties,no pets, 1 car per party,private and well maintained property, prime real estate location, clean, quiet, secure..

The view from the panoramic windows is spectacular and unforgettable. All windows of the Rockport vacation house offer a magnificent water view. The surrounding nature, the sloping lawn, the vibrant colors are beautiful.

The Rockport property is splendidly situated in the mid harbor, in full view. A full dock will be available summer 2007 for boats up to 40 feet long. Rental boats, kayaks, are available for hire in the harbor, just minutes away, in the Village. The Maine Photographic Workshops, Bay Chamber Concerts, the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship, the Curtis Vesper Chapel are nearby. Parking at the house available.

Check, cash, paypal Deposits
25 % deposit required to book the reservation. Balance amount of payment due 30 days before arrival. In some instances a security deposit ,reimbursable, upon owners inspection, will be required, 25 % of the whole amount.

Cancellation
If cancelled 60days or more before arrival, security deposit will be reimbursed minus 100$ cancellation fee.If less than 60 days, reimbursement will be done if the apartment is rented to someone else.

& Taxes
60-120$ cleaning fee will apply; or 25$/hr, 8.5% Maine rental tax for rentals up to 28 days.
