Podere Castellare is a traditional Tuscan farmhouse, situated 23 km from Florence near the national Park of Vallombrosa, the property is part of the Chianti area and extends for 35 hectares. Immersed amongst olive groves, vineyards and cypress trees offering stunning views and tranquillity. Podere Castellare has been transformed using a total ecological concept into a delightful sort of hotel in the countryside. The reception is selling our own products such as olive oil and Tuscan specialities from the area.
The common living area consist of a nice sitting room with sofas and armchairs, bookcase and little tables. Furnished to a high standard. There is also an outdoor garden sitting area with sofas and armchairs in a design style.
There are extensive gardens and terraces to relax, a swimming-pool (15 m) with sun beds and tables and sun umbrellas. Changing room facilities and a small bar service. There are also a tennis court and a 5 aside football pitch, a small gym and health centre with sauna, Jacuzzi and Turkish bath. The restaurant serves traditional homemade Tuscan dishes prepared by Anna, the cook.
