Comments for The Biscuit Palace guest house Hotel
Fantastic location, beautiful view of the Qtr rooftops from the balconies. You can hear the caliope on the riverboat from there. The terrific rooms are unique, and VERY intersting (ask about the Bourbon). Easy walk (2 blks) to Fritzels European Jazz on Bourbon St. We don't want to stay anywhere else, plus it has sentimental meaning for us. Clayton is great, but we have to be careful this doesn't go to his head! Ha!

The Biscuit Palace is an ideal place to stay when visiting New Orleans. It's like having your own apartment in the French Quarter.

Fabulous, not another place like it in New Orleans. Clayton was a perfect host. Will tell all my friends. Thanks

I have always stayed at the Palace during my visits which are two to three a year. GREAT location, just off Bourbon and just down the street from the Clover Grill and Cafe LaFitte in Exile; easy walking distance to Jackson Square and the River; and a stone's throw from Royal Street with all it's art & antique shops. All the rooms I have bedded were large and comfortable so you need to come and stay with Clayton.

Great place in the heart of the Quarter. I stay here at least five times each year, commune with the koi, can't wait to be back. Clayton is the best host in the Quarter! It's like coming home!

I have stayed at this guest house since I was 13. I will be 22 this year and I still have not stayed in a nicer place. There were very well put artistic clouds on the ceiling, the bathroom had no door knob and was made into the wall. Ohh and the balcony I had lots of fun observing the drunken people walking to or from Bourbon St. I love the Biscuit Palace. The courtyard is amazing the goldfish are so big in the fountain. Clayton is very hospitible, my parents always liked him... I have also stayed in the room that was like an apartment. It had a full kitchen, the coolest bathtub being held up by what looks like antique bear claws. It was equally as nice as the other room but I am just stuck on the room with the clouds on the ceiling. There are actually faces in the clouds if you study them. I give Biscuit Palace 5 stars and 2 thumbs up. Hilton move over because no other hotel or guest house can top the forever wonderful Biscuit Palace.

If you want to be close to Bourbon Street, yet far from distraction, then this place is very convenient. My accomodations were cozy and convenient. The key to conveniece is Location. This location is ideal if you are wanting to be on foot and taste everything the Quarter has to offer. I enjoyed jazz on Frenchmen, filet mignon at Dickie Brennan's, the Tigers vanquishing the Hokies at ACME, harrassing panhandlers, 5am breakfast at the Clover Grill (Nothing like bourbon and eggs), and letting a stripper call my mother to tell her I am having a great time. The Biscuit Palace also allows you to see the many historic landmarks of the area. I managed to sober up in St. Louis Cemetary, hit it off with a pretty art dealer on Royal Street, wonder around for hours applying my newly acquired history in an effort to experience the traditional brothel scene I heard so much about (I ended up drinking beer with the local fire department), and having a quiet afternoon italian dinner (pollo marsala w/ portobello mushrooms and linguini) delivered to my steps. From there I sat in a beautiful, quiet courtyard (just frickin seconds from the wild mayhem of the party strip...which I tore into later) and enjoyed my meal with some fine KY Bourbon procured, on foot, at a liquor store just down the road. Clayton is an excellent and most gracious host. I definitely enjoy the location and the ability to just not have to worry bout things like a vehicle and parking. Unless banned from the location by Clayton, I will most likely be down in late '08 in anticipation of San Francisco 49ers/Saints game, some horse racing at the Fairgrounds, and refinancing of my home at Harrah's casino. If that doesn't work I will just walk a couple of blocks and check out all the local art and history artifacts. Bottom line is, you do not have to drive. Just get a cab from the airport. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

My husband and I stayed here July 2005 for our honeymoon. We had a great time and Clayton is so nice! We're coming back this year (2007) for an even longer stay and can't wait to say 'hey' to Clayton again and visit Bourbon street. It's really close to everything and there's a lot of places for us night owls that shut down but th Clover Grill across the street is the only 24 hour place around! Thanks for being so great! Can't wait to get back!
