This is an old Florida cottage, and I should know cuz I am an old Floridian...LOL.. Truly a gem on the gulf! We spent Hurricane Frances in the cottage and felt safer than any of the other buildings. We finally left after 2 days without power--but only to go check on our house in Tampa. I say if it has been there since the 20's, then it's THE only place to be on the beach during a 'cane. (If you are as crazy as we are!). Very very comfortable, no hoopla, just a great house on the beach!
