... peaceful homeSit by our large 2 sided fireplace and play a game of chess, or sit on our wrap-around porch and take in our peaceful surroundings with bird feeders and lovely views. Enjoy a twenty minute pre-soak in our hot tub; then a wonderfully relaxing massage by the very talented David Oye. David has been a professional Massage Therapist since 1983. He uses a combination of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Traeger, Pressure Point Work and others as he sees fit. David is very intuitive and will apply the method and amount of pressure you need.
Your meal in the morning is bound to please you. On the weekends, Judy will fix you a substantial, meat free meal such as; Caramelized Apples with Crêpes topped with Crème Fraiche, or, Eggs Florentine with Orange Dill Sauce, all prepared with as many organic and locally grown ingredients as possible. Fresh squeezed orange or grapefruit juice is always served. Special diets are accommodated. During the week, a choice continental breakfast buffet will be available for you to select your favorites from. There will always be something yummy for snacks or fresh fruit and also a pot of organic coffee or organic tea available as well as a refrigerator stocked with soft drinks. The beds are all queen size and the mattresses are very comfortable and pillow topped. Speaking of pillows, you wont ever be in need of more pillows here. Theres plenty on the bed and more in the closet if you want. Byrds Nest comes with a therapeutic whirlpool tub. Doc Bennetts Retreat comes with a 6 foot claw foot tub with a feather pillow and a caddy to hold your book, candle and glass of your favorite drink. Also provided are plenty of bath salts or bubble bath for you to enjoy your soak to the max. All the rooms come with robes and slippers for your maximum comfort.
