In addition, the house has a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer, and plenty of linens and towels, so you just have to pack light!
The hiking trails shown in the pictures are at the Becket Quarry which is walking distance from the house.

I had heard from a friend how beautiful the Berkshire House and surrounding area was but my friend's description did not do either justice. Not only is the house beautiful and well-outfitted with all of the essential amenities but the surrounding area is so incredibly serene. Each time that I've gone to the Berkshire House (and my trips are at maximum only 3-days long) I come back to New York rejuvenated; fully energized and ready to start my work week. While there, I highly recommend you go for hikes in the Becket Quarry and swim in the lake there; both of which are a lovely yet short walk from the house. What a great vacation we had! We took our two boys and their bikes and really enjoyed ourselves. The house is clean spacious and modern. We were very comfortable. The charming towns around us were a pleasure to explore. So much history and culture, yet very laid back. I especially loved the Norman Rockwell Museum. My husband loved the small shops and the kids loved exploring the outdoors. I would recommend this beautiful home in the Berkshires to anyone who wants to get away from it all and truly relax!

This house is phenomenal! It's new, it's gorgeous, and fully equipt - a dream vacation...and that's just the beginning! I went hiking there, visited the Bershires towns, checked out the famous MassMOCA (Mass. Museum of Contemporary Art)...there's Norman Rockwell houses nearby, a quarry pond that's great for an afternoon splash. I can't wait to go back!!!!

I was a guest at the beautiful round house in the early summer and it was wonderful to wake up to the birds singing by my window. To see the beautiful butterflies going from flower to flower while I ate my breakfast was a real treat. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. It was a pleasure to stay and relax in this beautiful setting in the company of one of the special people in my life.

As Florida residents, we stayed in this winter wonderland a couple of years ago and plan to come back again for the season this year. The house was immaculate, fully furnished, full kitchen and amenities, very private and great fireplace. Close too skiing, trails and activities. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed the house and the location for getting away.
We also found some great towns close by like Lee, Lenox & Great Barrington. We always enjoy the area and the company when we visit. Great place for peace and quiet (They have a TV & DVD Player in case you want a quite night in too) Definitely recommend it.
