Whatever the destination, many indications suggest that 2006 will be excellent for our industry. “Tourism is on its way to becoming the largest industry in the world – the largest vehicle for globalization,” said Kim Hak Su, executive secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific.

Our Traffic Strategy

Our mission is to link our clients’ properties to our expanding networks of lifetime value travelers and travel agents. In 2006, we are applying business intelligence for selecting and aggressively investing in traffic sources that produce the best possible returns on investment (ROI) for our clients. Search engine optimization efforts, strategic online affiliations, and measurable off-the-net advertising are some of these traffic sources.

Our Content Quality

Currently, we are enhancing our existing Define Search tool (soon to be renamed “Property Finder”) to assist travelers to quickly find properties that meet their exact needs. As a result, we expect this tool to help improve the quality of the inquiries sent to our property owners.

Webinars & Tutorials

Over the past few years, Rentalo.com has introduced many powerful features and tools for both travelers and property owners. In the coming months, we will be announcing a series of training webinars and introducing several flash tutorials to the site, to show our property owners and travelers how to take full advantage of our website’s rich features and tools.

New Exchange Service for Availability Calendars

For those property owners and innkeepers who maintain their property’s availability calendars online, we will soon introduce a new standard in XML (Exchange Marked Link) to exchange availability calendars with owner's websites as well as other vacation rental directories in the industry.
