Tour the Maryland State Capitol, St. John's College and don't miss walking around the campus of the U.S.Naval Academy. It is truly an American treasure. The home is situated on a bluff overlooking the South River. Crab, fish and swim off your own private pier. Walk to restaurants. Have a cookout on the large deck. Enjoy the view while sipping a cup of coffee or favorite beverage. Take your boat out to the Chesapeake Bay and explore all of the creeks and inlets on the way there. A quick 40-minute drive takes you into downtown Washington, D.C., where you can explore fantastic monuments (the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, the Washington Monument) and the Smithsonian Institute -- all open to the public for free!! Tour the National Archives, Air and Space Museum, the U.S. Mint, the Holocaust Museum. You'll run out of time before you run out of things to do and see. Another 40-minute drives takes you to the heart of Baltimore, where you can visit the Inner Harbor, tour Fort McHenry and watch an Orioles baseball game. This property offers everything for a very memorable vacation.
