From this position there is a stunning view over the city. There is also a smaller table and chairs. The garden is floodlit at night, offering a wonderful setting for evening meals. Although you are in the centre of Rome, the garden provides an oasis of peace and tranquillity.

The building is in one of the most historic districts of Rome, " Prati ", and it is five hundred meters far from the entry of the Vatican museums.On foot it's possible to reach easily: S. Peter square, the Vatican Museums, Castel Sant'Angelo and, walking pleasantly along the river "Tevere", Piazza Navona.In zone you will find all the more useful services: clothes shops, food, pharmacies and call-centers ; supermarkets, local markets, fast food , delicatessen, laundromats, internet service, rent scooters and bicycles in the immediately adjacent streets. Restaurants, hosteria, confectioneries, ice-cream shop but even pub and beer house are numerous everywhere. Amazing - although right in the heart of everything, and a short walk away from markets and tourist attractions, this property is really tucked away in a very quiet, very decent neighbourhood. The owner's family are absolutely lovely, and we found renting an apartment with kitchen, bathroom and gardens the best way to travel with 3 families. Double gates offer a really secure entry, which as already described, is right on the walls of the Vatican city. We hope to return here again and again! Walk out into the city for an adventure and then return to the garden with some fresh food and drink at the end of it all, to unwind.
