The cabin was built in the early 1940's in what was originally called Frank Globin's Al Tahoe. Mr. Globin was instrumental in the development of the area. Globin's Hotel was situated at the end of Alameda Ave. and Sacramento Ave.
Numerous summer cabins completed the community. Our cabin has been in the family for over 50 years. We love the relaxed atmosphere it offers. We are a short three block walk to pristine Lake Tahoe. The cabin is ideal for a family, honeymooners, couples or a quick weekend getaway.

The cabin has original knotty pine ceiling and paneling, pine hardwood floors, gas fireplace, 1940's bar and stools, two bedrooms and a sleeping hall. One bedroom has a full bed. The other bedroom has a full bed and twin. The sleeping hall has a twin bed. Linens are provided(flannel sheets in the winter time), cable TV, DVD/VCR, stereo with cassette, remodeled bathroom with tub and shower in a mountain motif, and a kitchen with all of the accouterments.
The property offers off street parking, a large fenced yard, huge deck with picnic tables, BBQ, chairs and umbrellas.
