The house dates from the seventeenth century and was originally a customs house when the two parts were separated by an old street, which has now been moved to provide a comfortable place to enjoy the open air. There is also an internal court with an old oven used to make bread.

The main products of the site are olive oil and honey. More that a thousand olive trees have been planted in the property over a century and the tradition is being continued, with the youngest trees having been planted in 2001. A forest of chestnuts, cherry trees and oaks takes up the remainder of the land. The wood is home to bees and a rich variety of wild flora and fauna. Our produce has absolutely no pesticides or fertilisers and is allowed to grow naturally.Our products are olive oil and honey; we also produce seasonal jam and occasionally mushrooms sauce and truffles sauce found locally.
