Cancellation


Cancellations and Refunds: If you cancel your rental reservation with more than 14 days advance notice, all deposits are refundable, subject to $35.00 non-refundable reservation fee. Less than the specified 14 days notice will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

Fees & Taxes


Taxes consist of 11% and a reservation processing fee of $29.00

We have just returned from a vacation in Gulf Shores that I wish we had never taken....mainly because of Pleaure Island Properties and their duplicity.....When our Destin plans were ruined, because of Hurricane Dennis I started surfing the net to find a replacement plan that would still allow us to enjoy a great beach.....I contacted Pleasure Island Properties by email and phone and ask her both times about the condition of both the beach and pools at the offered condo.....she assured me both times that the beach and pool were unharmed by Dennis and were great.---Hindsight being 20/20 I now realize why they suddenly had this great condo available at last minute......When we arrived and opened up our drapes in our beautiful condo we were greeted by dozen of workers and heavy equipement as they were refurbishing our beach...I went down and talked to the beach service and was informed that our beach would be closed for a week...I then went down and talked to one of the construction people and they confirmed that the beach would be closed indefinitely....I immediately called and left 3 messages at the PLI office stating my dismay and I needed them to call immediately....when no call came on Sat or Sunday I thought surely they would call on Monday..they did not, nor Tuesday and on Wednesday after we had some electrical problems I finally was able to talk to someone and she did not even inquire to see if the problems with the beach were still ongoing...the condo owners and representative have plenty of warning about the work going on the beach...so I must assume from their actions, Island Properties rented this condo for $300 a night knowing and not caring that we could enjoy the promised facilities. I did my research and asked the right questions but got deceitful answers....beware......
