There is redwood trim, 17-foot high redwood living room ceilings, cherry wood cabinetry, Granite counter tops, a 200-year-old bald cypress wood centrally-located bar, 4 TV's, DVD's & VCR's, stereo system, and tasteful western artwork and decorations, making this a very cozy and comfortable mountain home. A private and secluded outdoor hot tub (conveniently located so you don't have to walk barefoot in the snow to get to it) will help soothe skied-out sore muscles.
You will be just 1 1/2 miles above the town of Steamboat Springs for shopping and only 8 minutes to the slopes. This beautiful home has a fully equipped kitchen, complete laundry facilities, all linens and towels...really everything you need to make your stay in Steamboat very comfortable and something special that you are sure to enjoy. The house even has an attached greenhouse looking out into flowers, herbs and tomatoes; growing year round.
There's an outdoor grill on the redwood deck by the hot tub for those of you, like the owner, who like to think of summer even with 3 feet of snow around the house. There are 3 bedrooms with one king, 1 queen bed and 1 full bed as well as 2 queen hide-a-bed couches. One full and one 3/4 bath, supplying unlimited hot water with an oversized hot water heater. This lovely home sleeps 6 people comfortably on 1 king , 1 queen and 1 full bed, maximum, utilizing the 1 comfy hide-a-bed in a room with it's own fireplace.. Turn key and ready-to-go. Just bring your food and drink and enjoy.
