It can provide a romantic getaway for 2 with the great split bedroom floor plan, it can be rented as a 1 bedroom (brand new king size log bed), 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms s(King & Queen size beds), 2 bathroom or 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (3rd bedroom has bunk beds ), depending on your party size and we are very children friendly as the 3rd bedroom we call the Black Bear Den which is filled with toys, games, books, TV/DVD/VCR and playstation. There may be many cabins for rent in the Helen area, but our home is truly where your mountain experience enjoys elegance while it meets comfort; come and enjoy it!

Master bedroom suite overlooks the back deck with sliding doors for easy access to deck and includes Brand new Simmons BeautyRest King Size Bed, New 20 TV w/DVD and Satellite receiver with hundreds of channels, dresser and nightstands, large walk in closet, full private bath/shower with Waterpic Shower Heavenly Shower Head, plush bath sheets and hairdryer. The room is decorated in soothing colors.

2nd bedroom has a Queen size bed (also new Simmons Beautyrest), dresser, nightstands, 13 TV w/ satellite receiver, large closet and has private access to 2nd bathroom. Known as the Butterfly Room it is decorated with the same theme and painted in Restful sage color.

2nd bathroom is decorated in the cabin theme and consists of a shower/tub combination. Plush towels, hairdryer and first aid kit.

3rd bedroom is our Black Bear Den which is a kid's paradise room we created for families like ours. It has new bunk beds (wood), 19 TV/DVD/VCR/Play Station w/ games, and satellie receiver, Barbie's, toys galore, games, books, extra fold away bed, high chair, pack-n-play and is painted in deep red to reflect it's Bear and cabin theme (The deer sometimes come from the woods in the mornings sometimes and can be observed from the den).

The extra large great room has the rest! The living, dining and kitchen all surround the new gas log fireplace and TV cabinett with 27 Panasonic, DVD/VCR/Satellite Dish Receiver, Pioneer Stereo Receiver with 5 disc CD player, DVD's, CD's, Videos, books, and games are plentiful. The dining room table seats 6-8 and the island kitchen has 3 stools for extra seating or serving. The dining area is adjacent to the sliding doors going out to the back deck where the BBQ grill and hottub along with table/chairs and umbrella sit overlooking the gorgeous Georgia Mountains and the woods behind us that are totally undeveloped. Windows all around the room have beautiful views as well and let the sunshine and mountain air in. In the cooler months the new gas log fireplace warms up with a flip of a switch and you are sitting around the fire instantly!

The full kitchen with GE Profile Refridgerator, Digital Oven/Stove, Dishwasher, Microwave, Auto Programmable Coffee Pot, Electric Tea Kettle, Blender, Mixer, dishes for 8, glassware, stemware, flatware, filtered water on sink and refridgerator are just a few of the items in our fully stocked kitchen.

Our front porch has 2 new rocking chairs and table and has breathtaking views of Mt. Yonah. The back deck which overlooks the woods directly behind and then has the entire panarama of Mt. Yonah and the Georgia Mountain Range has a table w/ 4 chairs with umbrella, BBQ grill, and new Esclipse Hottub with built in multicolored waterfall (seats 4).

Our Laundry Room consists of Oversize Capacity Maytag washer and dryer.

We have a full 2 car garage which is nice for unloading your luggage or groceries should it rain and makes for easy access to the home.

The welcome foyer cove is filled with travel brochures and local activities ideas including sample menus from the abundant restaurants in the area and include our suggestions for the ones wefrequent while in Helen. A book about the home and the area explain everything we might forget to tell you, but most importantly you will be greeted personally upon arrival and someone will always be available should you have any questions.

We pride ourselves on customer service yet this is a family home not a commercial property and we believe you will find it reflects all the love we have for the home and the area.

There is a monitored security system although definitely not necessary in this crime free area of Sautee Nacoochee/Helen. We only set it when the house is vacant.

The North Georgia Mountains boasts some of the greatest activities of the south including: Unicoi State Park, hiking, tubing, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, horse back riding, golfing, antiquing, just to name a few and Bavarian Helen's Visitor Center has all the information you could possibly need for great local activitiy ideas. For little girls, there is always the Cabbage Patch Kids Hosiptal but most important to us is the Native American Legend of Sautee and Nacoochee and the area's history which is steeped in Native American lore. Of course the Applachian Trail begins practically in our backyard.

Please inquire about price quote based upon number of bedrooms you would require & the # in your party. Holiday/Octoberfest rates may be higher. 3 night minimum Octoberfest & holiday weeks. Add $25 per night if renting 3 bedrooms. We accept Credit Cards. Specials exclude holidays, please inquire for exact pricing. (Specials require minimum of 5 nights(Visa/Mastercard and AMEX) but for the BEST VALUE we prefer Money Orders, Cashiers Checks, or Personal Checks. For last minute rentals, the rental must be paid at arrival and booking can be held on Credit Card until arrival. All adult guests must be 25 years or older and must provide a copy of drivers license along with payment.

50% of rental rate upon reservation then balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. The Fully Refundable Security Deposit is due along with final payment at least 30 days prior to arrival or upon arrival. ($500)



With at least 60 days notice, a full refund can be refunded. For cancellations less then 30 days, if house can be re-rented, the entire deposit will be refunded - if not, one night's charge will be assessed.



Applicable state occupancy tax and a one time outcleaning fee from$40 -$80 depending on # of bedrooms/bathrooms utilized. $500 Security Deposit fully refundable after home is cleaned and inspected for any damages. Excessive laundry and cleaning may result in deduction from security deposit. Additional guests not agreed upon when booking will result in 1 nights charge.
