I would like to leave another GLOWING review of this property. The best part of this home is working with Greg and Leslie. They are so nice, easy to work with and truly want you to use their home as if it was yours. They go out of their way as well as above and beyond in making sure their guest have EVERYTHING! This home is so well equipped you could not ask for more. Movies, music, games, books, extra towel and linens. This list goes on and on. I just can't remember all the extra's they have provide for the guest use. Even sleds, shampoo and soaps, not to mention a kitchen with "staples galore" all for your use if you forget something. We WILL come back to this property again for sure. It is perfect for 2 families to share. Their price for what YOU get is amazing! You can't get a hotel room for this price let alone a 4 bedroom 3 full bath house with a fully equipped kitchen and two family rooms. We saved so much by cooking all meals in and just relaxing by the fire place. The house was very clean, has great parking and close to town. I could go on and on, but really, book now. Greg is wonderful to work with and I promise you too will want to write a fantastic review after you stay here. You really end up wanting to help them keep this property booked over others because you will feel like they deserve it! We can't wait to go back. I'm ready to give a summer trip a try at this home. I hope this help you pick this family mountain cabin in the woods. The Flaks' deserve your business!

Our family spent an amazing Thanksgiving week in this beautiful cabin home in the woods of Breckenridge. Everything we needed in the way of support was provided--we did bring the turkey. Our family of nine members, including 4 grandchildren each had very comfortable living accommodations, with a flat screen TV in every bedroom. The view out the kitchen and deck window down a snow covered slope to the Blue River was breathtaking. As we sat around the extended dining room table, we were indeed very thankful for this great winter adventure in such a great facility, bringing our family warmly together.

We spent 5 nights at the cabin in June and would have gladly stayed longer. The cabin is roomy as well as cozy. Plenty of space and beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the Blue River tumbling below us. Also, love the location. It feels like you're in the woods, and yet only a few minutes from Breckenridge. I hope we have a chance to stay again someday.

My family stayed at the cabin one of the first weeks in January and it was amazing. The main living room is surrounded by windows and centered around a fireplace, which was wonderful and cozy; especially after being out in the snow all day. The driveway is perfect for sledding. My kids had such a blast, we are making this one of our annual vacations. For skiers or even just beginners, the Breckenridge Peak 8 slopes and Ski School was fantastic as well. Greg was wonderful as well. He called within a day of our arrival to see if everything was in order and we were comfortable. There were plenty of extra blankets, pillows, towels, etc. to be comfortable anywhere in the house. The kitchen was also well stocked and we didn't have to go out for groceries until the day after our arrival. Everyone was happy and comfy! Thank you so much for opening your family cabin to us, Greg! We will be there again next year!

Wonderful Cabin in the woods. My family had a fantastic time sledding and enjoying the beauty surrounding us. Very spacious and close to town but yet far enough away that you can forget the world. Would love to go again and highly recommend!!

We had a great time, the cabin was well appointed, very clean and very spacious. We have older children (in their late teens/early twenties), and it was super for us...cozy, yet lots of room especially with the downstairs family room. It was on a beautiful lot surrounded by trees, but easy to find and so close to town! We would definitely like to visit again.

This was our second visit to the Family Mountain Cabin in the Woods. It is the perfect place for our family and friends to meet up for a few days of skiing. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. Spices, flour, sugar, condiments in the fridge -- You name it. The house is spacious enough so that even with 7 adults and 1 child, we didn't feel crowded or cramped. They do a terrific job of maintaining the home and it is clean and tidy. There are plenty of towels and extra blankets. You will enjoy the fireplace and the soft leather furniture in the living room. Highly recommended!!

We are a family of 7; 2 adults and 5 children (ages 11 to 2 months). I was concerned before our trip that the house might not accommodate us, however, I was pleasantly surprised! The house is so super cute and comfortable. I loved how it wasn't in a cramped area, tightly packed in with a ton of houses surrounding it. There is a beautiful space around the house full of trees and plenty of areas to play in the snow. We actually spent a couple of days just playing in the snow, and sledded down the driveway! It's perfect! The bedrooms/beds are very comfortable and my children had no issues sleeping. My husband and I usually can't stay anywhere more than 2 nights because of the mattresses, but we stayed the entire week and wanted to stay longer! This was a first for our family. I had read the description about the house, and it had mentioned that the kitchen was 'fully stocked'...it was! I couldn't believe it. The cabinets were all full of things we could eat, if we needed to. We only had to buy things like milk, eggs...perishables. It was so wonderful. One of my favorite things about the house was the fireplace, it was so warm and cozy. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace after a day of playing in the snow or sledding at the nearby Adventure Point in Keystone. Also, the owner mentioned that the house had been in his family for 30 years. I couldn't believe it, because it looked so well maintained and updated. It didn't look 30+ years old...it was quite modern and quaint. There was also a fenced in area under the house to store things, such as sleds and skiis. Super convenient! If you need a place that is only a couple minutes away from Breckenridge that is super comfy and can accomodate a large group, then this place is perfect for you!

What a wonderful place to vacation. The cabin was very clean and was a great place to stay for a week. We would recommend to friends and famliy and hope to return during the ski season. Thanks Greg for sharing your cabin in the woods, even though it's only a couple miles from downtown Breckenridge. Doug

This place is great! Well maintained, cozy - yet spacious. You feel as if you're in the woods at your private retreat. Yet it is just off of Hwy 9 and only about 2 miles from downtown Breckenridge. The house is fully equiped and the owners are always easily accessible when if they're needed. We have now rented this house twice and intend to rent it for another week this Spring. You won't be disappointed. Great place.
