Guest Book for Coronado Palms Coastal Cottage
Greg, Robbie, and Alex
My family and I try to escape from College Station to Galveston whenever we can. My wife used to be employed by Hilton and we have stayed at the Double Tree on Seawall Blvd several times. The hotel is nice; however, this trip we were looking for a more restful and relaxing location... and we found it. Thank you Mary! The Coronado Palms Coastal Cottage was exactly what we were looking for. You were right, Mary, everything is provided except our clothing and our food. We loved the well-equipped kitchen and Alex enjoyed the privacy of his own bedroom. A short walk to the beach and the proximity to several restaurants made our latest escape to Galveston our best ever. Mary, I assure you that we will return to Coronado Palms as soon as we can and, hopefully, for a longer stay. Thank you for everything...The Martins.
We loved this adorable little house. Everything about it was wonderful. The location is perfect. Close to the beach, close to restaurants and close to the Pleasure Pier. We felt very comfortable in the home and Mary was very kind. We brought two little dogs with us and she made them feel just as much as home as we did. The first night we were at the house, we went to use the grill and it broke. We called Mary and had a brand new grill at the house by the next day. Thank you Mary!!! We will be booking again!

My husband found this charming beach cottage and I'm so glad he did!!! We spent the best week of vacation we've ever had there!!! We liked it so much we've already rebooked for next October and for longer. Mary is wonderful and thoughtful - she left us with guest passes for some lovely local attractions, a bottle of wine, a re-usable shopping bag, discount cards to the grocery stores and she had dog bowls out and waiting for our puppy when we got there. She also had towels and blankets especially for our puppy! If you are planning to spend time in Galveston - you can't go wrong with this beautiful house! In fact you might want to re-think your vacation plans and spend some time on the Texas coast and stay at Coronado Palms!
Just spent the weekend at Coronado Palms and had a blast. So conveniently located to everything. Walking distance to the Pleasure Pier and restaurants, one block to the beach! We wish our stay was longer and will be booking again for Fall. I couldn't recommend enough-Mary was so hospitable and made us feel right at home. Full kitchen and loved the front porch! Thank you Mary and see you soon!

We just spent a wonderful Labor Day weekend here in this lovely cottage. Mary and Lee are lovely hosts and were warm and welcoming. Why would anyone want to stay at a hotel when this amazing home is available? I, my husband Sam and his mother along with our 2 furry canine children Penny and Luther felt right at home here. Lovely, comfortable, warm, welcoming, and dogs welcomed too? Who could ask for more? Thank you, Mary and Lee for your hospitality!
We stayed at this lovely home this past September for our wedding on the beach. We went to the nearby docks and bought fresh seafood, had wonderful meals at home and enjoyed the attractions without the added cost of eating out. Mary was WONDERFUL, left us a lovely wedding card, bottle of wine, and free passes to tour historical sites. Nigel & I plan to come back for our anniversary, and would not want to stay anywhere else!!!
Coronado Palms Cottage is comfortable and cute and so many amenities are provided to guests. Mary and Lee, the owners, are extremely nice and want to make sure your stay is perfect. The location is convenient -- activities and restaurants are close. We had 4 relaxing days--iThe Coronado Palms is a great choice for accomodations in Galveston!
What a charming and comfortable cottage. Close to everything, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Looking forward to returning for a longer stay.
Mary - I just loved the way you have decorated this cottage. The colors are so fresh, the kitchen SO NEW, and I soaked for hours in the clawfoot bathtub!!! I could not decide where to sit outside - the breezing front porch or the quiet shaded large back yard! And laying on a blanket - looking STRAIGHT UP - the Fireworks last 4th of July was great!
