From the moment we began communication with the owner, to our final checkout, everything was perfect in this condo! All of the extra amenities - free internet, free parking, jacuzzi, two TV's, luscious King bed, kitchen supplies - set this unit apart from others. It has a fabulous view from a high floor, and is extremely quiet and peaceful since it is so high above the street. We felt very safe here, too, as the garage and all exterior doors have electronic entry, with separate keys to the room and pool areas. We didn't feel that there would be any unwelcome guests. We had total privacy which would not have been possible in a hotel setting.
The price paid for such spacious accomodations was less than the convention hotels we had been offered, and it has at least double the space of any room. My biggest issue is communication, and the owner and manager were available to us at all times for any questions that we had, both before and during our visit. I was a little cautious at first about mailing a check, since I had never used rentalo before, but there was absolutely no problem. We purchased trip insurance for a reasonably low fee (www.insuremytrip.com) and feel that the owner's refund policy is reasonable in a vacation market.
The location is fabulous - easy walk to Convention Center, and much of Waikiki, as well as being on "THE BUS" route.
