This is our 7th year of returning to Timberloft. We just returned from a week in their 3 bedroom cabin. 4 generations of us went to spend time together in Helen in cabins we knew we could count on for cleanliness, for having everything we need, for a great relaxing time. The hospitality of the owners is unheard of anymore and the pride they take in making your stay all YOU want it to be. Being a Travel Agent I judge things more carefully and having traveled all around the world, there is nothing like traveling only 600 miles from my homr to get great Southern hospitality. The best part is we are returning again in September but only get 5 days to soak in the hot tub while out enjoying the roads on our GoldWing motorcycle.

Clean… Cozy… Romantic… Practical… Friendly staff… I can’t say enough!
The studio cottage was a lot more than we expected. It was larger than we had anticipated but was still cozy and inviting. There is a small bed in the loft which is perfect for kids. There is a T.V. with cable and a small table for two in one corner of the room. There is a couch by the fire place for reading, relaxing, or watching your favorite show. The queen bed was very comfortable. There is a small kitchen area that is furnished with all the amenities of home... There is a mini frig with two electric burners for cooking, a coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. The pots, pans, and dishes were even furnished. What a find!
My boyfriend and I decided to get away for the night. We called Saturday morning and booked a studio for that night. We had a great time shopping in Helen and floating down the river. We came back to the cabin for a relaxing hot tub which was very romantic in itself but then he gave me a beautiful diamond platinum ring.
The only complaint was the tub in the bathroom was not equipped with a massage shower head… It was a wonderful place to say and we will defiantly have to do it again!
