You can still walk on the original cotto-floors and open and lock the doors using the ancient latches and locks, that together with the beamed ceilings help recreating the warm atmosphere of ancient Tuscan houses. The apartment overlooks the wonderful Sienese Chianti countryside. You can relax in the internal courtyard and in the garden. The barbecue equipment is at guests' disposal. In nearby Poggibonsi (1.5 km from Castle of Strozzavolpe) you will find anything you need for comfortable holidays: supermarkets, a shopping centre, chemists', banks, post office.
