Location. Located in Old Town in Istanbul, Turkey, the boutique Hotel Uyan stands 50 metres from Sultanhamet Square, 75 metres from Sultan Ahmed Mosque and 100 metres from Topkapi Palace.
Hotel Features. Original white doors and wrought iron balconies grace the Hotel Uyan. The hotel was originally built as an Ottoman House in 1928, but was converted to a boutique hotel in 1992. Mornings begin with a complimentary breakfasts out on the terrace, overlooking the city sights.

Driving Directions:

The shuttle bus also runs from the airport to the Aksaray district, where a taxi can be taken to the hotel, or a tram runs from Aksaray to Sultanahmet. City and private buses run services in Istanbul. The suburban train network is old but reliable and inexpensive. Istanbul's metro is under construction, though some lines are already in service; it's inexpensive, with frequent services. There are also several tramlines. Istanbul has a large fleet of yellow taxis, but a cheaper way of getting around the streets is to hire a dolmus (shared taxi or minibus). Ferries and catamarans are a cheap, fun way to get around.
