Getting there. Both airport terminals are connected to the metro system, which runs to the city centre, and the nearest station to the hotel is Sultanahmet, 100 metres away. Single tickets cost approximately 1 TRY. The Havas Airport bus departs every 30 minutes for the main bus terminal and Taksim Square, in central Istanbul. Journey time is approximately 30 minutes. Bus number 96 runs between the airport and the city centre, and a shuttle bus runs to the port. Taxis wait outside Arrivals; fixed prices are in place and the fare to the hotel should be approximately 30-35 TRY. At night, there is a 50 per cent surcharge. Prices are subject to change.
