In October we booked a 3 day break for January 2009 at your hotel in Princes Square through a travel agent. We requested a room on a high floor so we could see out of the windows. We have now come home from this holiday very displeased with the accommodation provided. On arrival we were given a room in the basement which was dark and dingy although beautifully decorated. We complained and were moved to the fourth floor, however, on inspection we discovered the room to be no bigger than a rabbit hutch and that we had been down-graded from a Clubroom. We had to climb over each other to get into the bed or open the curtains (one curtain and its track even fell down whilst we were out ). The room was poorly maintained with bathroom door not fitting, bathroom fan VERY noisy, lightbulb not working in one light in bathroom. Looking at your website we feel the pictures are not of the same hotel. Overall we are VERY DISSATISFIED with what you provided us with. We did not complain a second time as we felt you had down-graded us already and worried what we would end up with. We await your reply. David Bellamy.
